Flashback Friday: A celebration of spring and jewellery with Buro 24/7 and Van Cleef & Arpels

On 23 March 2017, Buro 24/7 Malaysia co-hosted an exclusive preview event with Van Cleef & Arpels at the French jewellery brand’s boutique in Starhill Gallery. Even as guests arrive, the delightful spirit of spring was imminent in the air, as they are welcomed by the sight of beautiful blooms in the form of a flower wall outside the boutique. In attendance were local personalities and Friends of Buro, as well as our esteemed guests of the afternoon—Zaida Ibrahim, YM Datin Indera Che Puan Amelia, Lee Yin Yen and Bella Kuan—who had the opportunity to wear a curated selection of Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery throughout the event.

The event kicked off with a welcome speech by our Deputy Editor Gwen Ong, followed with an introduction to the stars of the afternoon by Retail Director of Van Cleef & Arpels Julie Clody. The stars were of course the latest Frivole collection by Van Cleef & Arpels, a foliage-inspired lineup which comprised of nine new creations featuring the iconic heart-shaped petals in a three-dimensional form. Amidst bubbly, canapés and conversation, guests had a first look the exquisite new jewellery and try them on. There was even a flower market in the store, where guests could personalise their own bouquet of blooms.
