After Diamond Punk (2015) and Diamond Fury (2016), Audemars Piguet introduces Diamond Outrage—the third and final design in the trilogy of Haute Joaillerie timepieces. Like its predecessors, Diamond Outrage is made for the bold and provocative, igniting fascination and stealing the spotlight wherever it goes. It is presented in two unique 18-carat white gold versions, one fully set with diamonds, and the other featuring blue sapphires.
A rebel in the world of delicate high jewellery watches, Diamond Outrage makes a brilliant impression from the get-go with its bracelet of glittering spikes. Appearing like stalactites on the wrist, upon closer look one will be able to admire the exquisite snow setting technique on the spikes, where the diamonds are set so close together that the white-gold frame in the background is almost invisible. Both versions feature brilliant-cut diamonds, but on the full diamond version, three spikes are set with baguette-cut diamonds, giving it a distinctive edge. It is powered by the Calibre 2701 Quartz movement.
Here are some gem stats to set your heart aflutter:
On the Diamond Outrage Full Diamond
9,923 brilliant-cut diamonds ~ 50.06 carats
354 baguette-cut diamonds ~ 15.85 carats
On the Diamond Outrage Sapphire
11,043 brilliant-cut sapphires ~ 65.47 carats
