Put on your best retro outfits (or borrow your mum’s favourite archived kebayas!) and head to Stadium Merdeka for a weekend of shopping, music, and, of course, eating. Retailers include Rareblee, Laman Tepi Rumah, and Cloud Crystal. Vendors such as Brie N Butter and Whisk will make sure you stay well-fed, while local artists including Leaism and Soul Boss will keep the tunes going. Not to mention, you’ll also get to try your hand at batik, cultural dancing, and more with the schedule of workshops planned!

In celebration of Merdeka, Habib has transformed its Harta Space with a special exhibition, ‘Pesan & Kenangan,’ curated by Yap Sau Bin. Featuring pieces from Pakharudin Sulaiman’s art collection, the exhibition revolves around two significant themes. Kenangan celebrates the timeless ideas, values, and individuals that have shaped our past, while Pesan offers a compelling reminder of the better future we must strive to create. Additionally, the exhibition honours the contributions of local artists and cultural figures, showcasing their impactful ideas and visions for the community.
