What’s inside the RM2.3 million Golden Globes 2024 swag bag?

The awards season of the year has kicked off with the 2024 Golden Globes stealing the spotlight on our special media feeds all day. Signifcantly, history was made by the likes of Ali Wong and Steven Yeun—who became the first actors of Asian descent to bag Best Actress and Best Actor in a Limited Series for their performance in Beef—and Lily Gladstone, the first indigenous person to take home Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in Killers of the Flower Moon.

And it really pays to win at the Golden Globes, not just for the recognition or bragging rights. Why? Well, simply because all 83 winners and presenters get to take home an epic swag bag worth a whopping total of US$500,000 (approximately RM2.3 million)!

Curated by the Golden Globes and Robb Report, “The Ultimate Gift Box” is said to feature more than 35 luxurious products and experiences. For example, some of the most covetable big ticket items include a five-day luxury yacht charter in Indonesia (US$50,000); exclusive trips to the Cayman Islands (US$20,000), New Zealand (US$15,000), and Punta Mita (US$5,500); and membership to private aviation company XOJet with US$10,000 in flight credits.

All recipients will get a US$15,000 luxury stay at the Four Seasons hotel in Punta Mita, Mexico.

What’s more, other eye-watering goods that may end up in one of the lucky awardees’ bags include a US$193,500 bottle of Liber Pater (AKA “the world’s most expensive wine”), a pair of Coomi x Muzo emerald earrings worth $69,000, and a US$2,500 tattoo session with a celebrity tattoo artist.

Not all recipients will receive the aforementioned luxury gift items though, as some exclusive goodies will only be presented to a select few. But there’s a lot more where those came from, including an array of premium food and beverages plus apparel and beauty products. Check out the full list below:

The Celestia Yacht will be up for charter for all awardees and presenters.
