Golden Globes 2024: The best-dressed stars on the red carpet
Dressed to kill
The award season has returned, and the Golden Globes is kicking it off with a splash of style! Hosted by Jo Koy at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, the 81st edition unfolds with Oppenheimer sweeping the night with five wins. Meanwhile, Barbie cinched two awards, including the newly added category for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. In other news, Ali Wong and Steven Yeun made history as the first artists of Asian descent to secure a Golden Globe in the limited series category for their exceptional performances in the Netflix comedy-drama Beef.
The red carpet buzzed with the same enthusiasm as A-listers pulled out all the stops, showcasing their finest looks. Stealing the spotlight on the red carpet were Dua Lipa in a chic strapless velvety black gown by Schiaparelli, Greta Lee exuding grace in a billowing pale yellow ensemble by Loewe, and Brie Larson captivating the audience in a bespoke purple midi dress by Prada.
Meanwhile, Natalie Portman graced the grand affair in a Dior Haute Couture evening dress adorned with an impressionist landscape of micro-flowers and vermicelli. Taylor Swift radiated glamour in a shimmering green Gucci dress, while Margot Robbie embraced a Barbie-esque vibe in her hot-pink ensemble from Giorgio Armani Privé.
The gentlemen stepped up their style, too, bringing their A-game to the red carpet. Unfazed by an arm sling, Pedro Pascal made a stylish entrance in an all-black ensemble by Bottega Veneta, while Barry Keoghan made a statement with a red Louis Vuitton suit. At the same time, Charles Melton arrived in a dashing Giorgio Armani look, while Jonathan Bailey stood out in an all-white Givenchy suit, both showcasing their impeccable sense of style.
