F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2023: Tickets, concerts, activities, and everything to know

Gear up Formula One fans, the Singapore Grand Prix 2023 is just around the corner. Touted as one of the best (and most challenging) street circuits to drive—not to mention the only one in Southeast Asia—it promises to be an adrenaline-packed weekend for all racing enthusiasts.

What’s more, it is one of the most extensive events on the F1 calendar with multiple events leading up to the highly anticipated race weekend at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on top of a star-studded entertainment lineup. Suffice to say, all eyes will be on Malaysia’s southern neighbour in September.

To ensure you don’t miss out, we’ve put together a comprehensive guide to the Singapore Grand Prix 2023—from ticket prices to headlining concert performances.

KEY DATES AND VENUE

The typical F1 race weekend will take place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from 15 to 17 September 2023. However, the complete Grand Prix Season Singapore 2023 (GPSS) will start a week earlier from 8 September 2023

It’s worth noting that this year’s track length is shortened to 4.928km with 19 turns due to redevelopment works at The Float at Marina Bay. Thus, competing drivers must now complete 63 laps to reach the finishing line on race day.

Here’s a rundown of the schedule:

Day One – 15 September, Friday

Free Practice 1: 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Free Practice 2: 9pm -10pm

Day Two – 16 September, Saturday

Free Practice 3: 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Qualifying: 9 – 10pm

Day Three – 17 September, Sunday

Main Race: 8pm

Scuderia Ferrari SF90 showcase in Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands has collaborated with Ferrari to present a replica of the iconic SF90, which will be on display at the lobby of Hotel Tower 1 from 11 to 18 September. The spectacular showcase will offer Ferrari fans and F1 visitors an opportunity to check out the Scuderia Ferrari car that raced in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2019 up close. To mark the partnership, the iconic facade of Marina Bay Sands will be illuminated in the Ferrari red hue throughout the duration of the night race.

What’s more, the collaboration will also see official F1 Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, as well as Frederic Vasseur, Team Principal and General Manager of Scuderia Ferrari, involved in partnership activations at the integrated resort.

AFTER PARTIES

Legendary Amber Lounge After Party

Known to be one of the hottest F1 afterparties in Singapore, Amber Lounge makes a comeback on 16 and 17 September 2023 to its original and iconic location at Millenia Walk. This year, the legendary afterparty will boast a new custom-built marquee setup, featuring state-of-the-art ARRI lighting technology to deliver the most immersive atmosphere. Guests can indulge in champagne and cocktails, (potentially) brush shoulders with members of the F1 racing fraternity, and enjoy world-class entertainment by international DJs and live acts. Grammy Award-winning international hip-hop sensation Lil Jon is the headlining DJ for Saturday night, alongside performances by The Stickmen Project, Bangkok Invaders’ DJ Ono and DjayBuddah, as well as a guest star appearance by Fatman Scoop.

The highlight starts at Yin Bar, which will be transformed into a pitstop that includes a race car installation stocked with cold drinks and food carts offering light bites and snacks, accompanied by live music. As the day turns into night, the party seamlessly transitions to Yang Club with a plethora of racing elements and themed beverage packages.
