6. Pledge to go plant-based for three days or more for Veganuary 2022

When: Throughout January

For the uninitiated, Veganuary is an annual challenge started by a UK-based non-profit organisation with the aim to educate and promote veganism by encouraging people to follow a vegan lifestyle for the month of January. This year, the challenge is supported by The Green Spoon—the youth-arm of the Malaysian Vegetarian Society—which has collaborated with vegan businesses and plant-based F&B outlets to champion the vegan movement locally.

All Malaysians are welcome to participate in the challenge by pledging to go plant-based for three, five, or seven days a week for the whole month of January. Participants stand to unlock deals from partnering brands and restaurants and receive a complimentary myVeganuari recipe book, on top of enjoying health benefits, protecting the environment, and improving animal welfare.

For more information, visit The Green Spoon website. Follow on Instagram for more updates.
