1. Break fast with Maria’s SteakCafe this Ramadan

This weekend marks the start of the holy month of Ramadan and Maria’s SteakCafe has prepared a special menu to celebrate the season. Steak lovers will enjoy the beef set, which comes with Spicy Mussels and Mushroom Soup as appetisers to complement the signature main course of Australian Grain Fed Ribeye. Highlighting the set is a Raya Special Edition Percik Sauce, offering an East meets West twist to add an extra kick to your iftar meal. The set also includes Moist Chocolate Cake to end the meal on a sweet note.

On the other hand, the non-beef option features the same appetisers and dessert, with two Surf N’ Turf main courses including one New Zealand Lamb Cutlet and one Atlantic White Cod. Both sets also come with complimentary kurma and rose syrup to mark the festivities.

3. Discover ‘What Dreams May Become’ at The Backroom KL

Before Joshua Fitton came to be known as the man behind local fashion house Atelier Fitton, he dabbled in ceramics. Returning to this art form for a solo exhibition titled ‘What Dreams May Become’, he reflects on the ups and downs he has experienced and channels his energy into creating to embody this journey. The exhibition features a hundred ceramic eggs—or what the designer calls “a series of vessels that symbolise love, hope, rebirth and dreams, but also failures, disappointments and heartbreaks”.
