This weekend in Kuala Lumpur sees: a bar takeover at Woobar to a market featuring brands from both Malaysia and Singapore and more

 

1. Makers' Market & Workshops by Naiise at The Godown KL, 11am – 7pm, 23 & 24 November 2019

This weekend, Singaporean design label Naiise is curating a two-day market featuring 20 creative makers and brands from Singapore and Malaysia—such as Wetteeshirt, Seniman Kakao, and Hometoomuch. In collaboration with KL co-working venue, A Space To_, there will also be workshops on leather crafting and succulent survival.

2. Try Johnnie Walker Gold& Syiok at selected locations, 23 & 24 November 2019

The Malaysian-inspired highball was specially curated by Bar and Beverage Professional, Angel Ng, by combining the Gold Label Reserve with local ingredients. In addition to whisky and soda, the concoction contains honey, floral notes, and pomelo pulp. Available from November onwards for a limited time only, you can get a taste of Gold& Syiok at Hyde at 53M, The Locker and Loft, Soma Cocktail Bar, and Topshelf.

3. Visit A Day Lifestyle Store at Intermark KL Mall, 10am - 10pm, 23 & 24 November 2019

Spread across 3,000 square feet, the store redefines the art and craft retail in Malaysia with a portfolio of over 100 brands—including fashion, beauty, food, design, art, and home. Their goal is to provide local artists with a platform to present their works. 4. Brew N Brush: Matilda Sunset at Marimbar, 5pm - 7pm, 24 November 2019

This Sunday, take the opportunity to enjoy a guided acrylic painting session in a social space. 5. Brohemia! A New Play at Klpac, 8.30pm - 10.30pm, 23 & 24 November 2019

In this play, you will get a thorough look on sexual minority as well as the consequences of toxic masculinity. This is Theatresauce's third and final New Project of 2019. Cast includes the likes of Aiman Aiman, Josh Blake, Cayden Diow, Theyvapaalan S. Jayaratnam, Darren Lee, Azzad Mahdzir-Sariza, Ashraf Zain, and Tristen ZiJuin. The production is strictly for mature audiences only. A regular ticket is priced at RM63.

6. Monkey Business featuring Callan Green at W Kuala Lumpur, 9pm - 1am, 22 November 2019

This Friday at the hotel's Woobar will see Australian bartender, Callan Green, taking over for a night. The Guest Shift will feature a multitude of tipples that infuse gin from Monkey 47. This specific choice contains a mix of angelica root, acacia flowers, bramble leaves, lingonberries, and spruce shoots.
