Believe it or not, it has been 20 years since Harry Potter was first introduced to us. But be as it may, there are still those among us who haven’t gotten round to reading the seven-book series. For these newcomers, they will be able to get up to speed with the magical world through the ‘Wizarding World Book Club’. Hermione would be so proud!
The online book club to be launched in June will be in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. It is a channel where fans – new and old – can examine and debate every book in the Harry Potter series.
If you’re keen to take part, you just need to read (or re-read) a Harry Potter book every one to two months and then join in the conversation at the newly set-up Twitter account, @WWBookClub. A new theme from the Harry Potter stories will be discussed on the platform each week.
We’re delighted to welcome you to the official Wizarding World Book Club. Ready to join us this summer? https://t.co/o9yhe9vXzR #wwbookclub pic.twitter.com/KwGUINZ43y

“Our goal is to create a global community of Harry Potter readers who are communicating with each other as they are reading the same book, at the same time,” reads a statement on Pottermore, the digital publishing arm.
Registration for the Wizarding World Book Club can be done here.
