1. Sunny Side Up Market at Slate at the Row, 11am – 6pm, 6 – 8 Oct

It’s a three-day festival featuring local artisans and their quality wares—and that includes food.

2. The Quivo Unity Fiesta at Quivo, Pavilion KL, 12pm – midnight, 6 – 8 Oct

To celebrate their third anniversary, Quivo is throwing a three-day culinary and music funfair with colourful stilt walkers, live music, fun activities and a worldly offering of flavours. Expect tantalising dishes such as Moroccan lamb paella, tacos, wood-fired pizza and ikejime sashimi.

3. Talib Kweli performs at kyo KL, 11pm – 5am, 6 Oct

One of the world’s most talented and accomplished hip-hop artists, Talib Kweli will be performing a 90-minute show with accompanying DJ Aku Ash and Nahsyk. Kweli has worked with the likes of Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, just to name a few, and this is one show you won’t want to miss.

4. MasterChef Australia Season 9 Winner Diana Chan’s Homecoming Celebration of a Lifetime at South Court (Ground Floor), Mid Valley Megamall, 3pm – 5pm, 7 Oct

The latest MasterChef Australia Season 9 saw Malaysian Diana Chan beat 23 other aspiring amateur cooks to claim the winning title. Fans of the show will be able to catch her in person at this public event where she’ll share her experiences from the competition, answer fan questions as well as do a live cooking demonstration.

5. Famous Macarons Workshop at Nathalie Gourmet Studio, Publika, 9.30am – 1pm, 7 Oct

6. The Good Batch 4th Anniversary Celebration at The Good Batch, 3pm – 11pm, 8 Oct

One of the most popular cafes in town is turning four and to celebrate, they’re throwing a party complete with good food and cheap booze. In addition, Nara Kitchen & Co. will be selling their homemade bakes, upcoming cafe Fat Cat will be introducing their new menu and Hyde at 53M will be setting up a Gin Bar. Activities on the day include a mini flea market, awesome music and a lucky draw with tons of prizes to be won.

7. Under Armour Run Crew session at Platinum Park @ Naza Tower, 6.30am – 8.30am, 8 Oct

Training for an upcoming run or seeking guidance on how to increase your stamina and endurance? Join the UA Run Crew session conducted by Hiit2Fit co-founder Wilson Lee for a 6.5km run around KLCC Park followed by core conditioning and a workout that targets other muscle groups to improve your running stance.
