7 Things you can do this weekend: 2 – 3 June 2018

1. Mystery Guest Bartender at Pahit, 9pm – 12am, 1 June

Who can say no to Friday night drinks? A mystery guest bartender will be at Pahit this Friday and we hear he mixes some killer drinks. There will also be a special menu where it’ll be around RM38 nett per drink.

For more info, visit their event page.

2. PMC x myBurgerLab Collab Launch Party at myBurgerLab HQ, 7pm, 2 June

Pestle & Mortar Clothing and myBurgerLab have two things to celebrate this Saturday—the launch of “The Running Mess” collaboration t-shirts that are tied to the anniversary of mBL’s flagship burger, The Beautiful Mess. They’ll be donating 50 per cent of the proceeds to the welfare home Agathians Shelter.

For more info, visit their event page.

3. La Dida Vol. 2 at Slate @ The Row, 3pm – 12am, 2 June | 3pm – 10pm, 3 June

Dida is back with their second curated market where you’ll find selections of beauty products, fashion items, food and many more.

For more info, visit their event page.

4. Riuh Raya at APW Bangsar, 4pm – 12am, 2 & 3 June

KL’s popular market is back and they’re bringing some of the best Raya vibes. Buka puasa there (there will an Imam coordinating prayers on location), stock up your Raya supplies—be it cakes, cookies, festive fashion or household items—and enjoy a teaser of the upcoming Good Vibes Festival.

For more info, visit their event page.

5. Alley Rush Raya Edition at The Gasket Alley, 5pm – 12am, 2 & 3 June

Another part of town, another market and they’re calling it the 50 Shades of Green Raya Edition. Head over there to buka puasa, enjoy Raya shopping and immerse in the atmosphere filled with Malay oldies tunes.

For more info, visit their event page.

6. Shop at The Gardens Mall for a cause, 1 – 24 June

Raya is a time of giving and remembering the less fortunate. The Gardens Mall is doing their part by linking up with Teach for Malaysia. Shoppers who spend RM900 (RM800 for The Gardens Club members or Standard Chartered credit cardholders) and above in a single receipt* at any The Gardens Mall’s specialty stores will receive a pot of orchids. And for each of this redemption, The Gardens Mall will donate RM5 to Teach For Malaysia.

For more info, visit their Facebook.

7. Start planning a staycation

We recently did a hotel review on Alila Bangsar so in case you’re interested, head over here.
