M Performance vehicles have a rather large fanbase here in Malaysia and it’s clear why. The letter M—synonymous with power and performance—is described as the most powerful letter in the world for BMW. With a growing passion for these vehicles, BMW Malaysia has finally introduced the all-new BMW M340i xDrive.
Equipped with the BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder petrol engine (described as the most powerful engine in the BMW 3 Series), the M340i xDrive has a top speed of 250 kilometres per hour. In addition to being able to achieve the century sprint in 4.4 second, the sedan also comes with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission.
Moreover, the BMW M340i xDrive is also fitted with the M Sport differential that optimises traction and driving stability as well as M Sport brakes for improved stopping power and large brake discs are for an outstanding braking performance.
On the outside, you will notice 19-inch M Light Alloy Wheels in Double Spoke style 792 M Bicolour, M Sport brake with blue-painted brake callipers featuring the ‘M’ designation, trapezoidal dual-exhaust tailpipe finishers, and an M rear spoiler.
Apart from these components, the BMW M340i xDrive arrives with the M Aerodynamics Package, BMW Laser Light with high beam assistant, and the BMW Individual High-gloss Shadowline trim. You will also find Cerium Grey metallic finish on areas such as the air inlet in the front bumper, the BMW ornamental kidney grille and its surround, as well as the exterior mirror caps.
As for the interior, the variant is fitted with the BMW Live Cockpit Professional with a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument display, the BMW Navigation System Professional with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, the Head Up Display feature, and the electric glass roof addition.
You also can’t forget about the 16-Speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, automatic three-zone air-conditioning, the welcome light carpet and the ambient light with 11 predefined lighting designs.
Throughout its interior, the M340i xDrive is fitted with M-specific design. This includes sports seats for the driver and front passenger upholstered in Leather Vernasca, M leather steering wheel, front door sill finisher with illumination, and a BMW Individual headliner in Anthracite.
Drivers look for the best safety features when considering a purchase and the M340i xDrive has a plethora of important ones—from Rear Collision Warning and Speed Limit Assist to Crossing Traffic Warning and the Parking Assistant and rear-view camera.
