World’s 50 Best Bars: Here are the winners this year—including Kuala Lumpur’s Bar Trigona

The results—voted by 540 bar industry experts from the World’s 50 Best Bar Academy—were announced virtually amid Covid-19 concerns. This year, there is a new bar at the top of list; with 2019’s winner Dante now at the second spot. Malaysians have a lot to celebrate as our very own Bar Trigona (housed in Four Seasons KL) made it to the list for the first time, and rightly so.

Ashtin Berry was awarded the Roku Industry Icon To Watch whereas Galaxy Bar in Dubai took home Campari One To Watch. The Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award went to Alquímico from Cartagena and Renato Giovannoni was given the Altos Bartenders’ Bartender award. As for the Heering Legend of the List, Tokyo’s High Five won. Last but not least, Kwānt from London was awarded London Essence Best New Opening Award. Maybe Sammy from Sydney was given the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award.
