2. Grano Pasta Bar
It’s evident that Proof Pizza + Wine makes some of the best slices in town so it’s only fitting that they start an accompanying restaurant specialising in everyone’s next favourite Italian dish: Pasta. And boy, the variety will spoil you.

3. Skive
What was once Tous Le Jours in Bangsar—and then another bakery—has now become a restaurant slash bakery named Skive. Carrying a fun attitude (evident in their tagline, ‘delicious gallivanting’), the place holds great promise with a wide variety on the menu—many of which have been given a playful twist. The house-churned ice cream here, we hear, is a must-try too.

4. 8haus
The space is charming and minimalistic with industrial accents but the fusion restaurant’s crowd pleaser is none other than its pork ribs. Although, most of the other items on the menu also feature different variations of pork.

5. Entier
With a nose-to-tail approach to French cuisine helmed by the creative Chef Masashi Horiuchi (whose vast experience in Europe includes five years as the sous chef in Michelin-starred L’Atelier de Joël Robucho in London), Entier at the upcoming Alila Bangsar is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated openings in KL. The restaurant, which is by the same group behind Botanica + Co and Bocosan, officially opens on 11 May but it’s already taking reservations.
