#BUROEats: 7 Most Instagram-worthy cafes to visit in Melaka
Take a break from sightseeing
The cafe culture in Melaka is quite different from that in other parts of Malaysia—and it is no surprise that the local fascination with quaint brunch-style restaurants is causing them to pop up all over the state. From Western favourites like sandwiches and bagels to local delights like your beloved nyonya laksa, these cafes have everything you might want and more.
They’re everywhere too, so to help with curating your to-do list for your next trip over, here are our favourites that you simply have to dine in.

When thinking of cafes in Melaka, The Daily Fix Cafe comes to the mind immediately. Famous for their local flavours, the cafe’s pandan gula melaka and durian pancakes are crowd favourites, but other flavours—such as the expresso pancake with ice cream—stand out as well. For coffee lovers, the cafe also sells a variety of your standard coffee types, as well as a ‘Barista’s Choice’ if you’re feeling adventurous; perhaps you’ll get a taste of the Gula Melaka Latte. Not a fan of coffee? Not to worry, they also sell cakes, pasta, tea, and more. Far from just your run-of-the-mill coffee shop, The Daily Fix Cafe has a charming atmosphere where you can admire the 1800s decor and trinkets on the second floor while waiting for your pancakes to be made to perfection.
