This year’s Deepavali is just around the corner—falling on 31 October—and we want to make sure you and your appetites are all geared up. SAFFRON & SPICES
If you enjoy a little heat with your meals, then visit Saffron & Spices, where Indian flavours take centre stage. Feast like royalty at Café Colombo this Diwali with its seasonal special Abundance Feast. Extending beyond the ‘Symphony of Lights’ celebrations, this menu will be available until 8 November. It includes a selection of traditional Sri Lankan dishes that will surely have your mouth watering. From a tender Upcountry Goat Curry to crispy crab samosas, you’ll be leaving the restaurant with a full heart and stomach.

KENNY HILLS BAKERS ON THE PARK
Those looking for something to snack on this Deepavali, head up to TRX City Park, where you’ll find Kenny Hills Bakers on the Park. The brand is known for its flaky pastries, solid coffee, and hearty café fare, so you can definitely count on it to deliver truly flavourful festive treats. For this year’s celebrations, it is introducing two seasonal samosas: chicken and vegetarian. This pink lagoon-inspired space is joining in on the festivities with a special roasted chicken and vegetable stew. Also available on its lunch set menus, this hearty dish ticks all the right boxes for a filling yet satisfying meal. It is served with crispy patatas bravas, a vegetable stew, fresh tomato sauce, and crunchy parsnip chips.
