London is one of the cities that is always on our radar and with good reason too! Built on such rich history, it is, in its own way, a mix of old and new. And what’s even lovelier is the endless possibilities those cobblestone sidewalks might lead you to—including quaint cafes that further stamp London as a pretty city. Whether you’re there now for London Fashion Week or planning a trip to visit soon, be sure to stop by our favourite Instagram-worthy cafes of the moment.
1. Aubaine Selfridges
Unless you shop for designer shoes at Selfridges, chances are you wouldn’t know about this chic French restaurant on the store’s second floor. The highlight: The wisteria covered ceiling.

2. Petersham Nurseries Covent Garden
Petersham Nurseries began its story in Richmond of west London as a greenhouse and ‘magical cafe’ (which was awarded a Michelin star back in 2011 and 2012 under Skye Gyngell) but extended a second outlet in central London this year. Located at Covent Garden, it’s one to keep an eye out for as two restaurants are set to open on this vast 16,000 sq ft site.
Till then, it houses a a delicatessen, a home and garden shop, a cellar and a florist; so stop by to snap a couple of photos, perhaps make a few exquisite purchases for your home or as souvenirs, and grab a coffee (or a quick bite) before you leave.

4. Host Cafe
Who would have thought of opening a cafe inside a historical Gothic church building? Host Cafe did, we suppose and it’s definitely something different. Regulars cite great coffee and the peaceful atmosphere that have them returning. They also serve cakes and hot soup; and soon, a variety of focaccia sandwiches.

5. Treves & Hyde
Leman Locke is a pretty cute boutique aparthotel and under it, next to the pavement, is Treves & Hyde. By day it’s a cafe catering clean, beautiful food and by night it’s a restaurant and a bar. The interior is almost Scandinavian with pops of sunshine yellow and pastel pink, and a mix of wooden and marble tables.
