Best-dressed at the VMAs

The MTV Video Music Awards is like the kooky younger sister of the red carpet world. She hasn’t quite found her fashion feet yet and often dresses to provoke. But amidst the copious amounts of flesh on display, the plunging necklines and some serious “what were they thinking” moments (plus Miley Cyrus’ borderline insanity), there were a few standout starlets who rocked the red carpet. Here are seven who made us smile instead of cringe.
