The best of MFW SS19 day 1: Jil Sander’s micro bags

Still obsessed with mini bags? Jil Sander took the trend to new height—or size, in this case—with an extra small version on its Spring/Summer 2019 runway. While designers Luke and Lucie Meiers went down the chic and wearable route when it came to the clothes, they played up their collection with accessories that’ll guarantee a double-take. Case in point: long boxy bags, platform flip flops that reminded us of the Japanese Geta; and XL totes carried horizontally on the hip. Among them, are these tiny bags that may not be the most practical, but for the cute factor alone, we’re willing to try. One for cash and cards and the other for lip balm and mints, maybe?
