Something Old, Something New: All the Looks From Zendaya’s ‘The Drama’ Press Tour
Another one, thank you!
If there’s one thing Zendaya has mastered, it’s the press tour. What begins as a film rollout evolves into a sequence of fashion moments, and her latest project, A24’s The Drama, is the newest in her slate. Styled by her longtime stylist Law Roach, each look feels considered, almost ritualistic in its precision—a contemporary reading of the Victorian-era wedding rhyme, ‘something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue’. Ahead, every look from the press tour so far.
Something old

For the Los Angeles premiere, Zendaya looks back to move forward. She returns to a white off-the-shoulder gown by Vivienne Westwood, first worn at the 2015 Academy Awards—her first appearance at the ceremony.
Something new

Paris shifts the register. At the premiere, Zendaya steps out in a white silk crepe Louis Vuitton dress with elongated black bow detailing, styled with satin pumps. Clean, controlled, almost graphic in its contrast, the look plays with restraint and wit. It feels like a continuation, but sharpened.
Something borrowed

At the Rome premiere, Zendaya arrives in a black silk gown by Giorgio Armani Privé, punctuated by a deep, onyx-embellished neckline. Originally created for Cate Blanchett, the piece was first worn by her at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards and again at the 2025 Venice Film Festival.
Something romantic

Zendaya leans into a more restrained interpretation at Jimmy Kimmel Live!. She appears in a halterneck dress by Alexander McQueen, structured with corset detailing and crafted in floral-printed silk georgette and chiffon.
Something imperfect

At the Paris photocall, the mood loosens as Zendaya appears in a frayed chiffon rose dress by Matières Fécales. The edges are undone, the silhouette softened, the effect more instinctive than constructed. It reads like a breath between chapters rather than a full stop.
