Venice Film Festival 2023: All the stunning looks from the red carpet

The Venice Film Festival returns for its 80th edition this month at the Venice Lido from August 30 to September 9, 2023. Despite the ongoing strike by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) in the United States, the show must go on, and the red carpet has been packed with stunning ensembles in the last few days.

At the premiere of the film Poor Things, our local elegante Scha Alyahya graced the red carpet in Alia Bastamam’s off-white two-piece, while social media star Yoyo Cao showed up in a glamorous velvet mini dress adorned with hand-crafted organza roses. Madisin Rian—the first Black woman to be the face of Armani Beauty—also brought her A-game that evening in a glistening orange number by Armani Privé with delicate flower accents.

Meanwhile, Giorgio Armani celebrated the world of cinema with his extravagant ‘One Night Only’ fashion show, which gathered some of the biggest figures in the industry. Spotted at the lavish affair were Barbara Palvin, who slipped on a pastel-hued mini dress; Sydney Sweeney, donning a chic off-the-shoulder black ball gown; and Lili Reinhart, embracing classic Hollywood glitz with a shimmering cream spaghetti strap dress. Likewise, India Amarteifio exuded absolute elegance in a purple bustier ombre gown, while Regé-Jean Page, as always, looked charming in a classic black suit.

Jacob Elordi, on the other hand, was seen decked out in head-to-toe Valentino, while Bella Thorne sported an ivory white gown to the premiere of the film Priscilla. Other A-listers that caught our attention were Adriana Lima in a golden halter dress by Pinko and Isabelle Huppert in a silver fringe Balenciaga gown. See more of our picks from the esteemed film festival below.
