The final leg of award season was in full swing today, with the Oscars held at the illustrious Dolby Theatre, attracting the finest talents in Hollywood. The red carpet, as expected, became a mesmerising spectacle, where our cherished stars flaunted their finest outfits, adding an extra touch of glamour to the already dazzling affair.
Zendaya made a memorable entrance in a vintage rose silk gown by Giorgio Armani Privé, while Emma Stone, basking in the glow of her Best Actress victory, graced the show in a sophisticated mint-coloured dress from Louis Vuitton. Anya Taylor-Joy turned up looking magnificent, too, donning a Dior Haute Couture ivory silk bustier dress embellished with grey embroidered petals.
As all was going on, Vanessa Hudgens brought an unexpected delight to the evening, elegantly revealing her baby bump in a black long-sleeve gown crafted by Vera Wang. In a sartorial contrast, Billie Eilish opted for a classic look, sporting a well-tailored Chanel blazer with a refined tweed skirt and a matching purse. Another standout was Greta Lee, who slipped on a black-and-white dress from Loewe’s FW24 collection.
Balenciaga showcased its expertise in dressing A-listers as Michelle Yeoh arrived in a bespoke gown made from an array of vintage pieces, each carefully selected for their intricate embroidery and sequins. Meanwhile, Carey Mulligan stole the limelight as a crowd favourite, dressed gracefully in a recreation of the iconic gown from Cristóbal Balenciaga’s Winter 1951 collection. The fashion game was also strong with the Barbie cast, as Margot Robbie stunned in a brown metal mesh off-shoulder Versace gown while America Ferrera looked fabulous in a pink floor-length column gown from the same Italian fashion house.
The gentlemen did not fall short on style, with Cillian Murphy stepping out in a refined Versace suit, while Robert Downey Jr. grabbed attention in a sleek black Saint Laurent ensemble.
