One of the most anticipated designer collaborations every year, H&M’s high-low partnership has proven to be a huge success year after year. Following the likes of brands such as Alexander Wang, Balmain and Kenzo, this year, the Swedish brand has tapped the Canadian-born and London-based designer, Erdem Moralioglu, for a collection for both women and men (the brand’s first for the latter).
“From the moment we started talking with Erdem about the collaboration, I was captured by his vision. For ERDEM x H&M he has created an enchanting world full of beauty, delicacy and rich details. These are special pieces you will want to wear forever,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Creative Advisor.
Besides that, the brand also revealed that legendary filmmaker, Baz Luhrmann will be directing the campaign, and here’s the teaser to satiate your curiousity in the meantime:
Speaking of the collaboration, Erdem says, “I am so happy to collaborate with H&M, and to explore my work on a whole new scale including a menswear collection which I have never done before. It’s also such a thrill to work with Baz Luhrmann, one of the most important storytellers of our time.”
