Inside Tod’s first designer collaboration—with Alessandro Dell’Acqua

Introducing T Factory—Tod’s new (and first) series of collaboration with creative talents across different industries, who are invited to inject their own spin into the brand’s DNA. The first to kick-start the project? Italian fashion designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua, who is also the founder of N°21. Consisting of nine shoe styles and seven ready-to-wear pieces, the designer injected an extra edge into the pieces. The ballerinas and booties, in particular, were accentuated with extra details in the form of Tod’s signature ‘Gommini’ studs, and the former, complete with a velvet bow. All the pieces will be in a neutral colour palette, namely the brand’s tan, and Dell’Acqua’s powder pink and black hues. While Tod’s has yet to announce its second collaborator, you can expect capsule lines to drop a few times in a year, reflecting a new creative approach.
