After its celebrated debut last year, Miu Miu’s Summer Reads returns—this time reimagining public parks and gardens across Beijing, Hong Kong, Milan, Osaka and Paris as spaces for quiet contemplation. The initiative transforms these urban green pockets into literary sanctuaries, inviting passersby to pause, read and reflect.

This year’s selections honour two works of literature: Simone de Beauvoir’s The Inseparables and Fumiko Enchi’s The Waiting Years, both presented in exclusive Miu Miu editions, complete with dust covers, bookmarks, stamps and clips. The events will take place on June 27–28 in Beijing, Hong Kong, Milan, and Paris, and on June 28–29 in Osaka. More on the event can be found here

Marinella’s 1951 ‘cravatte’ prints are revived on fluid silk pyjamas and plush cashmere knits, while ‘chiattillo’-inspired pieces—candy-striped shirts and tailored jackets—are styled with an unexpected mix of rolled-up shorts and sweeping circle skirts. Finishing touches include the updated Whitney bag and whisper-light silk scarves.
