It seems like the number three is a lucky digit for Gigi Hadid. After returning for her third consecutive campaign with American shoe label, Stuart Weitzman, this model-of-the-moment snagged a Max Mara campaign, making it her third feature for the Italian brand. It does not come as a surprise-the 21 year old is the International Model of the Year and she was “discovered” precisely by Max Mara, who chose her to open the Autumn/Winter 2015 show inspired by Marilyn Monroe. Joining the reunion is acclaimed photographer, Steven Meisel who captured the latest and previous Max Mara campaigns.
For Spring 2017, Hadid is styled in tight curls as she lounges across the studio floor in suit jackets and tailored pants. Stealing the spotlight are, of course, the accessories off the spring collection, including the ‘BoBag’ top handle bags with tasseled and stitched details as well as the python-print leather sandals. The flirty and feminine shots also featured the young model in a fuzzy coat with avant-garde design sunglasses.
