Gigi Hadid fronts Stuart Weitzman’s Spring 2017 campaign
The It-girl (almost) bares it all for the luxury footwear brand’s latest ad campaign
If you have read our feature piece on the Hadid sisters, or basically have access to any social media platforms, you would know that 2016 seems to be a busy year for Gigi Hadid. But, of course, the supermodel shows no signs of slowing down. Most recently, the ultimate It-girl returns for her third consecutive campaign with American shoe brand, Stuart Weitzman.
Lensed by renowned photographer, Mario Testino (who has been shooting campaigns for the brand for more than a decade), the relaxed yet stunning black-and-white images embrace a distinctively minimal aesthetic as well as the brand’s essential silhouettes for the Spring/Summer 2017. Defining “sexy” as being confident and comfortable in your own skin, Hadid is captured, well, showing off a lot of skin. With her legs stretched out, the 21-year-old model flaunts a pair of ‘Clinger’ ankle boots, which are photographed elegantly in its new satin material. In another image, she lounges around in a baggy ensemble paired with a pair of embellished ‘Décor’ sneakers, looking effortless chic.
This Stuart Weitzman Spring/Summer 2017 campaign is not the first time Hadid strips down to nearly nothing. For the designer’s Spring 2016 collection, the young model bared it all alongside Joan Smalls and Lily Aldridge in nothing but the ‘Nudist’ sandals.
Both 'Clinger 'and 'Décor' are available for pre-order on stuartweitzman.com
