Fendi adds ostrich leather into their list of exotic skins

Fendi welcomes the largest living bird into its list of exotic skins. Known for its pebbled polka-dot-like texture ostrich leather comes highly distinct as a rare and luxurious skin. Albeit its raised pattern, ostrich leather is surprisingly soft and supple, and is known to be everlasting.

Its malleability and durability make it the perfect leather to enhance the bag silhouettes by Fendi. The iconic Peekaboo, (which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year) is available in Large, Regular, Mini and Essential sizes, along with the contemporary Kan I and Kan I small, plus a wide range of small leather goods.

The new ostrich leather creations are characterised by a subtle saddle finish which highlights the natural characteristics of the soft leather. The skin’s versatility creates for a broad colour palette with unexpected new shades: Emerald green, sunflower yellow and ruby red, artic grey, opal white and blueberry blue.
