Fresh from completing his military service, Song Kang joins Loewe as the brand’s newest ambassador. The South Korean actor, known for his roles in Love Alarm, Sweet Home, and My Demon, is synonymous with a refined, contemporary style that resonates with the Spanish house’s aesthetic. “I have always been drawn to Loewe’s innovative approach to craft and leather,” he says. “In my work, the balance between experimentation and staying true to my artistic roots is just as essential, which makes me genuinely excited to begin this new chapter together.” 

 

Antonin Tron Takes the Reins at Balmain

Antonin Tron is the newest creative force at Balmain, taking over the role previously held by Olivier Rousteing. The French designer brings extensive experience from luxury houses such as Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Balenciaga, and most recently Saint Laurent, before founding his own label, Atlein, in 2016. “I am deeply honoured to be joining Balmain, and grateful to Mr. Rachid and Matteo for entrusting me with this extraordinary House,” Tron comments. His debut collection will hit the Paris runway next March.

Clarks is expanding its presence in Malaysia with standalone Cloudsteppers™ concept stores at Central i-City Mall and Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The new spaces highlight the line’s best-selling sneakers and slip-ons, alongside new styles like the Solevana Jane and Solevana. Infused with plush cushioning, breathable materials and bursts of colour, Cloudsteppers™ fuses the brand’s comfort legacy with contemporary design. Beyond footwear, the British label extends its relaxed aesthetic to apparel and accessories, all reflecting its signature balance of ease and style.   

 

Olivier Rousteing departs Balmain

Olivier Rousteing is stepping down as Balmain’s creative director after 14 years, closing a defining chapter in the house’s modern history. Appointed in 2011, Rousteing became the first Black designer to lead a major European luxury brand, leaving behind a legacy shaped by vision and authenticity. “I am deeply proud of all that I’ve accomplished and profoundly grateful to my exceptional team at Balmain, my chosen family, in a place that has been my home for the past 14 years,” he shared. The brand confirmed that a new creative organisation will be announced in due course. 

 

Lilanz Opens Second Malaysian Store

Following the success of its first Malaysian store at Resorts World Genting, Lilanz is expanding with a new boutique at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Spanning 4,350 square feet, the store introduces the brand’s ‘Future Business’ concept, turning shopping into an immersive experience. Visitors are drawn in by a portal-like entrance, stepping into an airy, light-filled interior where every corner tells a story—from sleek tailored trousers to a cheerful corner of colourful polo tees, showcasing Lilanz’s forward-thinking vision for menswear.  

 

Grace Wales Bonner Joins Hermès

Hermès has appointed Grace Wales Bonner as its new Creative Director of Men’s Ready-to-Wear. The English designer, who serves as the artistic director of her eponymous label, was named British Menswear Designer of the Year at the 2024 Fashion Awards. Reflecting on her appointment, she said, “It is a dream realised to embark on this new chapter, following in a lineage of inspired craftspeople and designers. I wish to express my gratitude to Pierre-Alexis Dumas and Axel Dumas for the opportunity to bring my vision to this magical house.” Her first Hermès collection will debut in January 2027. 

 

Levi’s® Blue Tab™ Redefines Japanese Denim

This season, Levi’s® Blue Tab™ series honours Japanese denim with refined construction and sculptural reinterpretations of classic utilitarian silhouettes. Made from premium Japanese denim, each piece embodies the harmony of meticulous craft and bold vision.
