G-Dragon’s next PEACEMINUSONE x Nike sneakers, revealed

 

5 months after G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE label unveiled its first collaboration with Nike, the duo is rumoured to be back again with a new iteration of the Air Force 1 kicks, as renowned sneaker insider @py_rates_ posted a new “Para-Noise” design on Instagram. According to the image, the shoes will be in inverted colours from the previous collection, with white paint strokes at the midsole. The limited-edition line is expected to be released end of the year.

Billie Eilish x Takashi Murakami for Uniqlo drops online today

Want a piece of Billie Eilish and Takashi Murakami‘s magic? The news of the collaboration was revealed less than two weeks ago, and now, you can shop them exclusively on Uniqlo’s website. The UT collection—available for men, women, and kids—features T-shirts in eye-catching graphics that’s a combination of Billie’s Blohsh symbol and Takashi’s iconic flower motifs, one with a UT-original Billie Eilish logo, one with a collage of her photos, and more. This marks the duo’s second partnership, as the pop star and contemporary artist previously worked on the music video for Billie’s song, You Should See Me in a Crown.

The Billie Eilish x Takashi Murakami for UT collection is available online on May 25, and in-stores on May 29.

Swarovski appoints new creative director

For the first time in 125 years, Swarovski is appointing its first company-wide creative director, and it’s none other than Italian fashion heavyweight Giovanna Bataglia Engelbert. She’ll be overseeing the full creative direction across all divisions moving forward, and her first designs will be unveiled in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection. According to a release by the brand, Giovanna said, “For decades, Swarovski has been illuminating the world of fashion, design, entertainment, in general the whole creative industry. I am thrilled to be leading the creative vision of a cultural powerhouse like Swarovski in the future.” Aside from her role as a creative director for the brand, she also works as an editor and a fashion consultant.

Simon Porte Jacquemus was one of the first few brands that have kick-started a virtual photoshoot during the lockdown period, and the latest star of the #JacquemusAtHome campaign? His very own grandmother, Liline. In the series of images posted on Instagram, his muse was spotted in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection, from a hot-pink pantsuit to a spaghetti-strap maxi dress, accessorised with Jacquemus’ signature straw hat and the micro Le Chiquito bags. Two words: Grandma goals!
