Dubbed the ‘wedding of the year’, the #chrysfaliqeverafter celebration continues with the final part of Chryseis Tan and Faliq Nasimuddin’s reception. Held in Kyoto, at the Four Seasons Hotel, the bride and groom hosted their family and some of their closest friends during the peak of the autumn foliage season, making the (already) beautiful venue that much more breathtaking.

Having worn gowns from Indonesian designer, Yefta Gunawan, for her solemnisation ceremony, Malaysian fashion label, Fiziwoo, and Dubai-based Filipino designer, Michael Cinco, for her KL reception, Chryseis stayed true to her streak of Asian designers for the Kyoto wedding. For the welcome picnic on Friday, local designer duo, Fiziwoo, once again designed a gown for the bride, a custom tea-length gown made from 80 metres of silk tulle. At the morning ceremony the next day, the bride donned an off-shoulder gown by Oscar de la Renta (helmed by creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia) that was adorned with floral appliqués, complete with a voluminous tulle skirt, before changing into a high-neck gown by Prabal Gurung—with tiers of feathers and cut-outs for the night.
