For his debut shoe collection for Salvatore Ferragamo, design director Paul Andrew thought it fitting to mesh the Italian brand’s fine craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology. “My concept for the collection was simply to highlight the fundamentals that made Salvatore such a profound and groundbreaking presence in his field and to express those values through designs that are relevant to a new generation of strong, discerning women,” he says.
In conjunction with the release of the Pre-Fall and Fall/Winter 2017 women’s shoe collections, an entirely new multi-chapter and multi-sensory digital series has been launched, featuring international It girls such as Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Girl, Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Lee Sung Kyung among others. Each star will be the highlight in their own chapter of the series, as the digital platform aims to connect past, present and future of the luxury house while attracting a younger new demographic. Spot Nicole Warne in the first of the series posing with new-season merch, including a pair of black strappy sandals with chunky gold heels, ankle-length and thigh-high boots. Watch this space to find out how the story unravels.
