Style ID: Hong Hae-in’s best looks in Netflix’s ‘Queen of Tears’ and where to shop them

After airing for eight weeks since the beginning of March, Netflix’s ‘Queen of Tears’ is drawing to a close, marking the end of an unforgettable journey. From its gripping emotional highs to its heartwarming moments of love, this South Korean television series has captured many hearts, earning the coveted spot among Malaysia’s top 10 TV shows on Netflix. It has also consistently held a place in the top 10 of Netflix’s non-English TV shows since its premiere. Among the many praises showered upon it, Kim Ji-won’s portrayal of Hong Hae-in shines as one of the highlights. From the very first episode, her performance has mesmerised viewers, notably with her stylish and charismatic presence. Ahead, we have curated some of our favourite looks from her throughout the drama (and where you can purchase them!)

Episode 1

Amidst a crowd clad in black and white ensembles, Hong Hae-in makes a bold entrance in striking hot pink, courtesy of Valentino’s PP Pink hue. In the debut episode, she effortlessly pairs her Glaze Tweed Light jacket and mini skirt with an unlined Georgette blouse, exuding confidence and style.

The ‘lady boss’ aesthetic remains strong as Hae-in matches a semi-sheer blouse from Saint Laurent with a tweed cropped jacket, also from the Parisian label. And, of course, we can’t miss the black Delvaux bag, precisely the Brillant Mini in box calf—a stellar choice!

One of our favourite scenes from the series is the romantic reunion at Sanssouci Palace in Germany. Here, Hae-in dons an argyle v-neck knitwear piece from Mudidi, which she styles with a two-tone stripy pattern silk scarf from Toteme.
