In the ever-evolving landscape of global fashion, brands are constantly on the lookout for creative avenues to connect with consumers and craft captivating retail environments. Kate Spade New York, in particular, has recently advanced in this direction by revealing its first concept store in Malaysia.

Located at The Exchange TRX, the twelfth store in the country draws inspiration from the notion of a great escape and has been designed to not only encapsulate the House’s iconic identity but also pay homage to its unique approach to joy and femininity.

At first glance, the setting of the store evokes the inviting warmth of an eclectic New York City apartment, harkening back to the roots of the label. The interior is elevated by the infusion of rich wood tones, tasteful wall coverings, and delicate gold accents, all meticulously curated to harmonise with the brand’s distinctive colour palette.

What’s more, the layout fosters a sense of exploration, transforming each visit into a journey through its extensive collection of handbags, ready-to-wear, jewellery, accessories and more. Beyond the vision of creating a welcoming space for its community, the American fashion house also strives to establish a destination that captivates the hearts of all fashion lovers.

To commemorate this significant milestone in the journey of Kate Spade New York, a grand opening event was orchestrated, graced by the presence of Force Jiratchapong. The Thai actor was decked out in a white ensemble accentuated by a Noel bomber jacket and accessorised with the elegant Dakota bag in a soft cream hue.

Meanwhile, Anna Jobling made a fashion statement in a Pom Pom Floral Lawn dress, paired with Flourish mules and the Dakota Croc-embossed bag in a delightful pink melon shade. On another note, Jestinna Kuan showcased her style in the Pom Pom floral smocked dress, complemented by the small Dakota in the vibrant Kate Spade New York green.

Following the celebration, an exclusive afterparty unfolded at the Aurum Theatre. The cinema lounge underwent a transformation into a delightful event space, spotlighting the iconic Kate Spade New York green and embellished with elements that echoed the label’s playful and vibrant personality. Along with that, DJ Ashley Lau and DJ Jovynn’s dynamic tunes brought the setting to life, creating a lively and upbeat atmosphere throughout the night.
