What the stars wore to the final Game of Thrones season premiere
Winter has come
Alas, winter is upon us! The 8th and final season of Game of Thrones will hit our miniscreens on 14 April on HBO. Who will take the iron throne? As Cersei Lannister famously said, "In the game of thrones, you win or you die". Will your favourite character ascend the infamous throne made from the steel swords of Westeros' fallen enemies or will he or she fall prey to the clutches of the Night King? We can only speculate what George R.R Martin has up his sleeve for the finale of the Seven Kingdoms.
Earlier today, the stars from Game of Thrones graced New York City for the world premiere of Game of Thrones' 8th and final season. All our favourite characters (alive and dead) from the Seven Kingdoms graced the red carpet for the shows' last red carpet premiere. Emilia Clarke wore a sheer tulle gown from Valentino's Autumn/Winter 2019 collection, fit for a queen while Sophie Turner glimmered and dazzled in a sparkly LBD by Louis Vuitton. Gwendoline Christie descended as a beautiful ethereal glamazon in a fluttery gown by Iris van Herpen. As for the men, Kit Harington looked suave in an all-black suit, similar to his on-screen character's uniform of choice. And Pilou Asbæk donned a double-breasted jacket and stingray leather loafers for a sharp ensemble.
