The depths of Prada’s Inside Bag

When it first debuted on the A/W’15 runway, the Inside Bag was instantly touted as a new icon of Prada, combining remarkable savoir faire with the house’s trademark inventiveness. The bag within a bag has been interpreted into a series of animated short films by James Lima, a frequent collaborator of Prada since 2008. The dreamy shorts conjure up magical fantasies of the multiple secret lives of the Prada woman, with every video beginning with the unzipping of the bag to reveal its alternate realities and endless possibilities. The shorts will be released daily from October 13-18 on prada.com.
