SAG Awards 2020: What the celebs wore

The Screen Actors Guild Awards 2020 took place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in the city of angels earlier today, where Hollywood‘s finest gathered to celebrate the 26th edition to the awards ceremony and similar to the Academy Awards, the accolade is decided upon by their peers. To be a participating member of the guild, an actor must first have a speaking part in a television series or film.

Zoë Kravitz brought old Hollywood glamour to 2020 in a column gown by Oscar de la Renta in the sweetest hue of pale peach, accented with a bow at the waist. The long white gloves sealed the look! Scarlett Johansson was channelling major mermaid vibes in a turquoise dress by Armani. The fit and flare fit her hourglass shape perfectly.

Long billowy dresses were a hit at the awards, starting with Gwendoline Christie‘s all black voluminous tent dress by Rick Owens followed by her Game of Thrones co-star Nathalie Emmanuel in Miu Miu (we love the oversized bow detail on the bust!). Proven to be one to watch on the red carpet, Cynthia Erivo stunned in a two-toned Schiaparelli gown, balancing the size of the dress with minimalist yet statement jewellery. Also one to watch—Kathryn Newton in a citrine A-line gown by Valentino.
