Here's what you may have missed from fashion's biggest headlines

Fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh passes away at 74 years old

Most famously known for his black and white photography, we can thank the late Mr. Lindbergh for capturing more than a dozen iconic photographs that have inspired his contemporaries and continues to inspire burgeoning young talent. His most memorable work includes capturing '90s supermodels Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford to name a few. He leaves behind a legacy of work that will be cherished for decades to come, and will be missed dearly.

Rodarte reunites Mad Men stars January Jones and Kiernan Shipka

For their dreamy Spring/Summer 2020 campaign, Kate and Laura Mulleavy put together a diverse group of talent to star in their campaign. Back together, the on-screen mother and daughter duo from Mad Men, January Jones and Kiernan Shipka (aka Betty and Sally Draper) are immaculately dressed in silk strapless floral gowns made from tulle and taffeta. Other stars of the campaign include Riverdale's Lili Reinhart, Bring it On cheerleading rivals Kirsten Dunst and Gabrielle Union, as well as Oscar-nominated actress Yalitza Aparicio, alongside rising stars Rowan Blanchard, Margaret Qualley and Lauren Tsai.

Max Mara opens first flagship store in Seoul

Head's up, citizens of Seoul! Max Mara has recently opened their first flagship store in South Korea with a futuristic boutique at 434 Apgujeong-ro. Strategically located on the main street, with a lit up façade, you won't miss the new flagship store. Once inside, you'll be greeted with luxe marble flooring, Persian rugs and plush interiors, you may find it hard to leave.

No photography and phones allowed at the Savage x Fenty fashion show

In a time where everything is televised on a (small) screen, Rihanna chooses the opposite when it comes to her upcoming Savage x Fenty lingerie fashion show. WWD reports that "no photographers or videographers will be allowed inside the show venue" and that phone usage will be restricted during the time of the show. Handheld devices "will be placed in a locked case that each showgoer can hold onto". The reason behind such restrictions is that the live show will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video come 20 September. Either way, this no-phone zone will prove to be a good digital detox for show-goers.

Guess and 88 Rising collaborate for their second capsule collection

After a successful first collection last year, East meets West yet again as Guess partners up with 88 Rising for another round of cool streetwear threads. Guess x 88 Rising returns with a collection of distressed t-shirts, joggers, bodysuits, hoodies and fannypacks to get your hype on. Get your hands on the collection at the Gue88 pop-up store at The Bookmark in APW, Bangsar on 12 and 13 October, or shop in-store when the collection drops on 16 October at Guess Pavilion, KLCC and Sunway Pyramid.
