Swing by Suria KLCC from now until October 25, 2015 to take a look (and plenty of pictures!) of Ralph Lauren’s spectacular, six feet tall and five feet wide Giant Ricky Bag on display outside the Ralph Lauren boutique on the ground floor of the mall.
Embarking on its first-ever tour of Southeast Asia, the red larger-than-life accessory is inspired by the Soft Ricky Bag and intricately crafted by four artisans, taking approximately one month to create. It includes all the authentic details similar to the Soft Ricky, from Italian-made leather construction to its key bell, grommets and functioning lock. The Giant Ricky Bag is over four times the size of the Soft Ricky and weighs roughly 250 pounds (113 kg).
As a tribute to Ralph Lauren’s wife and muse, the Ricky Bag collection is iconic for reflecting his passion for craftsmanship and timeless design. The Giant Ricky Bag exhibition debuted in September 2013 at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City. Since then, it has toured around the globe and recently travelled to major cities in Hong Kong and China.
