Buro 24/7 Selection
To help usher in the New Roaring Twenties, Silvia Venturini Fendi envisioned a treasure trove of future heirlooms for Fendi's Autumn/Winter 2022 menswear collection. Taking old world elegance and twisting sartorial tropes on its head, the creative director explored the notion of getting all dressed up to entice us on a post-pandemic cause...to get all dressed up. After years of track pants and sweaters, Fendi introduces male sophisitication for the new generation, hacking classic tailoring to play with proportions and volume via suiting, knitwear and leather. Chopped collars and keyhole knits expose the clavicle, while blazers were both cape-sleeved and cropped in precious, tactile fabrics underlined by a hint of romanticism––deep the pearl necklaces, flower corsages and knee-high socks.
