This ’90s Japan-inspired creative space is a thrift store, cafe and the perfect Instagrammable spot to spice up your feed thanks to its neon lights and old-school charm. One could literally spend a whole evening just hanging out here. Serving food and shopping all in one place, Shimokita Space has been a popular location for youngsters to frequent lately.

Opening its doors just earlier this year, Looop offers a wide variety of quality vintage finds that reminisces the ’90s. Think digging through your mum’s retro closet, but in a store. Catered to all genders, shapes and sizes, you can shop all sorts of timeless pieces including traditional wear, slip-on dresses, blouses, knitted tops, bags, and more.

It’s safe to say that OkGo is one of the OG curated thrift stores that every thrifter has been to at least once, be it their previous location at USJ19 mall or their current location at SS18. Launched in 2017, OkGo’s inventory ranges anywhere from vintage graphic tees to varsity jackets to retro home goods and more. The best part? Prices aren’t marked up to unreasonable numbers, even for designer pieces!

Show Your Pink

While you can shop in-store, you’ll often find Show Your Pink at various thrift markets in the city. In fact, we happened to discover them at one of their pop-ups at RexKL, where we fetched a sublime pleated shirt by Issey Miyake (you’ll be thrilled to know that Issey Miyake is a reoccurring brand in their inventory!) With every drop, you will find some of the best vintage designers, including Marc Jacobs, Dior, Hugo, and more.
