Who: For Natacha Ramsay-Levi’s second outing for Chloé, she tailors a collection that presents “a dual vision of a woman as she is now and who she wants to be”.

Where: A bright, airy space filled with morning light at the Maison de la Radio.

The Low-down: Ramsay-Levi gives the current Chloé woman a multi-faceted dressing personality grounded by the label’s signature French sense of ease. What this translates into is a lineup of on-brand airy silhouettes infused with a plethora of details, such as vintage lace, soft pleats, goat-hair trims, leg-of-mutton sleeves and a vivid geometric print from the archives. The designer lends the sophisticated air of the collection a sensual touch by way of deep V necklines as well as slits and cutaway panels.

Buro Loves: The pantsuit look in earthy hues that married mannish tailoring, layering, and a peek of skin to perfection.

Where: If one needs indication of the level of hype that surrounds Off-White, the massive mob and full-on riot that broke out outside Virgil Abloh’s show venue off Rue Cambon is as telling as can be—it’s dangerously popular.

What: Titled ‘West Village’, Virgil Abloh says that the AW18 collection is inspired by the New York City woman who goes to “[SoulCycle] on weekdays and rides horses in Westchester [on weekends]”.

The Low-down: Aptly enough, Bella Hadid—known to be an accomplished equestrian—opened the show in a crisp white button-down paired with a denim bustier-hot pant in equestrian-inspired prints, a recurring pattern throughout the collection. Fans will no doubt find delight in the eclectic offerings spanning bodysuits and anoraks with an athletic flair, trench coats and pant suits in relaxed tailoring, edgy leather separates, sexy spliced and sequin dresses, and frothy tulle gowns.

Buro Loves: Abloh’s clash-and-blend of streetwear and formal tailoring that is inherently cool.
