MFW SS16: Aigner

Aigner’s creative director, Christian Beck, named his Spring/Summer ’16 collection “Underwater Love”, presenting the show in a dreamy, under the sea set that served as the perfect backdrop for the collection.

Soft pastel shades floated down the runway in flowing silhouettes, sleek workwear and glamorous evening numbers. Sea-inspired motifs in the forms of seashells, starfish and the likes were imbued in the collection—most prominently in the lace numbers, a refreshing deviation from the classic florals we’re so used to.

One of the standout looks from show was a sequined tee and skirt ensemble; shimmery and oh-so-lovely, it was a beautiful matrimony of casual and glamour.
