For Spring/Summer 2022, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri brought Dior back to the ’60s to explore the idea of fashion as a performative tool in our lives. From the life-sized board game set designed by Italian artist Anna Paparatti to the tribute to former Dior designer Marc Bohan and his game-changing Slim Look collection, the show was a mod-pop, disco-lit rendezvous that showcased a new direction for the house. Tapping into next summer’s new sexy for 21st-century girls, Chiuri delivered Dior in all-out ’60s glory with A-line coats, baby doll dresses and mini suits drenched in a colour-block twist.
