Street-cool during the day, feminine glamour at night; check out some of the fashion hits from the up-and-coming songstress

At age 22, Albanian-British Dua Lipa is no doubt one of the hottest rising stars in the pop industry; her debut album—released only three months ago—has met with success, giving her a good kick-start towards superstardom. Aside from her sensual raspy voice and catchy tunes, her bold style has also caught our attention. Hardly play by the books, Dua is often spotted in eye-catching ensembles on and off stage, and thanks to her modelling experience (before her music debut), the trickiest of looks were all made "wearable" on her. While her casual looks during the day are more inclined towards a cool vibe, her night looks scream femininity and glamour (with a touch of edge). Here are some of her most notable looks in recent months:

The leggy songstress' style onstage and on the sidewalk usually comprises of punchy colours and fashionable accessories—often spotted in boots and sneakers. However, if she were to pick one between the two footwear, platform boots will definitely be her go-to, as she reveals in an interview with Vogue. Not one to shy away from accessorising, Dua has been sporting everything trendy, from chunky mesh choker to beret and mini sunglasses. Aside from that, crop tops and track pants are a mainstay in her wardrobe (more inspo to jazz up your sportluxe outfits?).

For formal night events and parties, her sensual side comes out to play ; her red carpet looks are surprisingly refined. Although she mostly sticks to an all-black colour palette, she always completes her get-up with sparkly jewellery, and they help to break off the dark ensemble. Another thing's for sure: Dua's not afraid to show skin; whether it's in the form of a sexy cut-out, a thigh-high slit or by baring her décolletage, she still manages to look polished regardless of the outfit. Va-va-voom!
