Ça va? How are we all faring after the return of ‘Emily in Paris‘ on Netflix?  This time round, the stakes are higher, the luxury brands are real (Dior! Rimowa! Chopard!), and the fashion is even more over-the-top and show-stopping than before. And while the internet’s favourite chaotic expat has been the talk of the town over the last week, we couldn’t keep our eyes off the wardrobe of a certain stylish French girl instead: Camille. Where Emily’s sartorial choices scream attention––fingerless gloves, neon jackets and oversized sunglasses––Camille’s style undeniably boasts a Parisian je ne sai quoi that is refined yet understated. Think monochromatic, effortless chic outfits that come with plenty of tailoring and a cheeky twist.

According to digital shopping platform ShopStyle, searches for outfits worn by the characters increased just 24 hours after the premiere, with a leather blazer dress worn by Camille proving to be the most popular at a spike of 80%.

Ahead, we round up some of our favourite looks from the show, and where to find them . For those who aren’t caught up with season deux yet, fret not––no spoilers await.

Season two introduced Camille donning a massive, oversized power-shoulder jacket from Balmain, which she paired with high-waisted trousers and a bucket bag from another French fashion house: Patou.

While the celebrations for Emily’s birthday dinner ended on a sour note, Camille’s outfit certainly didn’t. She kept it effortlessly classic in a three-piece tweed suit with a matching asymmetrical skirt from Coperni and we can’t think of a better day-to-night ensemble for the new year.

What screams sexy, French and powerful more than Isabel Marant? For a work day, Camille rocks ’80s referential black wrap leather dress with knee-high zebra kicks both from the French label’s archives.

For Mindy’s first ever drag performance, Camille busted out a sculptural LBD with eye-popping cutouts (the same dress Hailey Bieber wore for last year’s New Year’s Eve) and a power pony to match.

How does one dress if they were to be confronted by their unfaithful ex? Camille’s statement, starry-studded one-shouldered ‘fit from Isabel Marant provides a formidable solution.

Now this is how you should wear a beret! Camille serving the epitome of Parisian chic in an emerald Alexandre Vauthier checked blazer, with a subtly-embossed leather (or faux) topper.

Style ID: ‘Emily in Paris’ Season 2 premieres this December–here’s a first look at the fashion

Bonjour! Are you ready for a gorgeous seaside vacation in the South of France? Emily Cooper is, because 2020’s hit and Emmy-nominated series Emily in Paris is back this winter with season two!

In last season’s finale, Lily Collin’s marketing-executive-slash-social-media-extraordinaire found herself entrenched in a complicated love triangle between sexy neighbour-chef Gabriele and his girlfriend-turned-ex Camille, who’s also one of Emily’s newly-made friends in Paris. The sophomore season will see the young American determined to focus on work as she starts to become more settled in the City of Love. But as fate (showrunner Darren Star) has it, a tall, dark and handsome stranger—AKA British actor Lucien Laviscount who plays fellow expat Alfie—enters the picture. Sacre bleu, what will befall TV’s most polarising Instagrammer?

Well, more romance, drama and fashion, of course! With cast members Philippine Leroy Beaulieu (Sylvie), Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucas Bravo (Gabriele), Camille Razat (Camille), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), and William Abadie (Antoine) all slated to return for season two, it’ll be like no time passed at all when the series hits Netflix on December 22.

If you remember, Emily’s on-screen style left the internet fired up during season one. What everyone expected to be the next Carrie Bradshaw (legendary costume designer Patricia Fields is in charge of styling) turned out to be more of an over-the-top extravaganza of designer, colour and patterns that relegated the main character into what many called a show pony. But good and bad moments aside, perhaps round two will be better? In addition to what she calls “some of Emily’s cheekiest outfits yet”, Lily Collins is adamant that fans will be thrilled with the follow-up wardrobe: “I think a lot of my new favourite outfits are from this season, the wardrobe went up more. I didn’t even know that was possible,” she shared in a video interview.

All in all, based on the first look images that were released recently, you can expect plenty of more eye-catching fashion moments to come. Scroll on to see a sneak peek of some of the outfits (and how to steal her style), and stay tuned as we countdown the days to the premiere:

In classic Emily-style, our heroine proves that clashing print-on-print makes for the ultimate statement––especially when you pair it with graphic black-and-white accessories. It’s the ultimate loud, look-at-me moment that just has to be Instagrammed.

For the Riviera, it seems that a relaxed, summery wardrobe is a must. We’re loving Emily’s sky-blue mullet dress from Magali Pascal (and so does a lot of people because it’s currently sold out), but there’s also plenty to glean from gal pals Mindy and Camille, who both opted for warm-weather classics in off-the-shoulder ruffles and an all-white ensemble. And to top it all off? Sustainable, woven arm candy––Emily’s tote by Parisian accessories brand Carel was handmade from recycled plastic fibres.

Did Christmas come early? Emily’s affinity for clashing prints manifest via red stripes and emerald green houndstooth in an office-friendly blazer and skirt look.

Nothing says low-key French je ne sais quoi chic than a Brenton striped shirt. The perfect balance between pulled together and laid back, it seems that Emily has nailed the Parisian staple with her all-American confidence.
