The best of LFW SS19 day 1: Mary Katrantzou's polka dot veils
On the quirky train
For the unconventional bride
At Mary Katrantzou's 10th anniversary show, the designer celebrates the milestone with a rich kaleidoscope of colours, textures, silhouettes and details. Amongst the fantastical elements, we spy the series of veiled looks that will certainly tickle the unconventional bride-to-be's fancy. They flaunt the flowing, cascading shape of the traditional veil, except they are made unique with a sea of polka dots, and the ornate option of an beautifully embellished patch at the crown—way to add a little quirk to your ensemble on the big day. Who says the bride has to wear all white anyway?
