Prada adds a touch of spring in the Autumn/Winter 2019 collection with cheery floral motifs
To quote the fictional fashion legend Miranda Priestly, "Florals for spring? Groundbreaking." But florals for winter? Genius. Miuccia Prada balanced the muted colour palette of the collection with bright florals seen through digital print, embroidery and 3D appliqués embellishing the pieces. From the neck up, intricate floral ornaments hung prettily grazing at the shoulders. Daisies, daffodils and carnations in bright yellows and pinks are sure to lift spirits during the cold and sombre seasons. Dangly floral earrings may not be revolutionary but we do appreciate that the flowers are close to being anatomically accurate as possible. The stem and leaf details add a more realistic feel to the accessory, giving the appearance of freshly picked flowers. We'd wear the accessory as a single earring — the perfect statement piece!
