This year marks a significant milestone for Malaysia: our nation will be celebrating its 60th anniversary of Merdeka come 31 August 2017. To commemorate the occasion, Montblanc releases the Montblanc 4810 ExoTourbillon Slim Malaysia 60 Edition and an assortment of Malaysia 60 Fine Stationery.
The Montblanc 4810 ExoTourbillon Slim Malaysia 60 Edition is an exquisite tribute to the rich cultural tapestry and heritage of Malaysia. Fitted with a 42mm rose gold case and black alligator strap, the timepiece features a stunning hand-painted miniature map of Malaysia on the dial. It is limited to a mere six numbered pieces—one to represent each decade of nationhood.
For the stationery (and nation) lover, the Montblanc Malaysia 60 Fine Stationery is one for the collection. Available in the form of notebooks with Saffiano leather covers, the collection comes in red, blue and yellow—the colours found on the Malaysian flag.
Inside each cover, you will find a beautiful illustrated tribute to an array of Malaysian icons – the Petronas Twin Towers, the Kuala Lumpur Tower, the historical Sultan Abdul Samad building, heritage shopfronts and the image of Tunku Abdul declaring Malaysia’s independence. Every Fine Stationery also houses premium silver-cut paper to ensure an optimal writing experience. The Montblanc Malaysia 60 Fine Stationery is limited to 248 units (31*8, get it?) per colour.
The Montblanc Malaysia 60 Commemorative Collection is now available in the Montblanc Pavilion and Suria KLCC boutiques.
